Skilled Laborer / Carpenter Apprentice

We’re looking for a Skilled Laborer / Carpenter Apprentice to join our growing renovation team.
This position is ideal for someone who has some hands-on construction or renovation experience and wants to take the next step in developing their skills.
You don't need to know everything.
What matters most to us is that you show up, work hard, pay attention, take pride in what you do, and genuinely want to learn.
We’re looking for someone who wants to build a career in the trades — not simply find a job.

Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with bathroom and kitchen renovations
- Demolition and site preparation
- Framing and basic carpentry
- Drywall installation and finishing
- Baseboard, trim and finishing work
- Door and hardware installation
- Assisting with tile preparation and installation

- Maintaining a clean, safe and organized work environment
- Assisting skilled tradespeople and learning proper techniques
- Using hand and power tools safely and appropriately
- Following project plans, instructions and timelines
- Using project-management and time-tracking apps
- Communicating with management regarding project progress and materials needed
As your skills develop, so will your responsibilities.
What We're Looking For
- Some previous experience in construction, renovations, carpentry or general labour
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools
- Comfortable working with measurements and learning new techniques
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, approximately 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Physically capable of performing the demands of residential renovation work
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Professional and respectful when working in clients' homes
- Comfortable learning and using modern technology and project-management apps

What Matters to Us
Attitude matters.
We're not expecting someone to walk through the door knowing everything.
We are looking for someone who is curious, coachable and willing to put in the work.
If you don't know how to do something, we're happy to teach you. What matters is that you're willing to learn.
We value people who ask questions, pay attention, accept feedback and want to understand why something is being done — not just how to do it.
We want someone who takes pride in their work, notices the small details and understands that doing something properly is more important than simply getting it done.
We're looking for someone who is reliable, respectful, hardworking and accountable — someone we can trust in our clients' homes and trust to represent our company.
You might be early in your career. You might have construction experience but want to become more well-rounded. You might be a labourer who is ready to learn carpentry and take on more responsibility.
Wherever you're starting from, our goal is to help you develop your skills, take on more responsibility and become a confident, well-rounded tradesperson.
If you're looking for somewhere to learn, grow and build a career, we'd like to meet you.
Who We Are
We're a family-built business with traditional values: integrity, transparency, accountability and doing things the right way.
We believe in doing our best, treating people with respect and taking pride in the work we put our name behind.
We've built a strong, loyal and trusting clientele over the years by providing quality workmanship and treating their homes with the same care we would expect in our own.
That philosophy extends to our employees.
We believe the people who help bring our vision to life deserve to be treated with respect, supported in their development and recognized for their contribution.
You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople and have the opportunity to learn multiple aspects of residential renovation rather than being stuck doing the same task every day.

- Full-time, steady Monday–Friday work
- Supportive management
- Hands-on training and mentorship
- Exposure to multiple areas of residential renovation
- Opportunity to develop into a skilled carpenter/renovation technician
