Job Overview:
Dunsmuir Ridler is looking for a cordial front desk receptionist who would be the first point of contact, to join our team. This candidate would be primarily responsible for answering and directing all calls to the appropriate staff member within the firm. The candidate we are looking for is someone who is well spoken, respectful, friendly, kind and has a courteous approach to all new and existing clients. They are required to demonstrate compassion, maturity and maintain a professionalism while communicating with any and all clients and/or other professionals. The candidate must be available to work in office from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a business casual dress attire.
General office tasks include:
- Answering all incoming calls
- Taking messages and forwarding them to the appropriate person
- Minor filing of client documents
- Booking/organizing boardrooms for meetings
- Ensuring the boardrooms are kept in a clean state at all times
- Occasionally attending at various banks within Newmarket to assist with deposits and/or certifying cheques to facilitate real estate transactions (this would require a valid Ontario driver’s license)
- Minor kitchen upkeep (including but not limited to cleaning and tidying kitchen counter, daily fridge inspection, ensuring there is a sufficient water cooler supply for the office, etc.)
Requirements:
Fluent in English
Receptionist/front desk experience
Ontario Driver’s License
