Step Into Security - Make an Impact
We are looking for a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to safeguard our premises, personnel, and assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and enforcing established security procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond quickly and effectively to incidents or emergencies. The ideal candidate should demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is an advantage; however, it is not mandatory as training may be provided. The Security Guard will play a key role in loss prevention and maintaining the overall safety and security of daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies as required.
- Enforce security, safety, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports.
- Assist visitors, clients, and staff in a professional manner.
- Inspect facilities and report safety concerns or hazards.
- Support investigations by documenting incidents and gathering information.
Required Skills:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required).
- Previous customer service experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent observation and attention to detail.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
- Physically able to stand and patrol for extended periods.
- Willingness to participate in training and professional development.
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining safety and security standards.
