Job Overview
The Occupational Therapist (OT) role will be to accept assigned referrals and use the appropriate treatment intervention to assist people who have suffered from illness, injury, developmental disorders, or emotional or psychological problems by facilitating a return to their normal lives, with an emphasis on return to work. The OT will work with the CRH team to effectively assess and provide treatment and the necessary documentation to fulfill CRH’s referral needs for Occupational Therapy and/or vocational rehabilitation treatment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments focused on functional performance, daily living activities, mental health functioning, and participation goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address client needs and mental health recovery objectives.
- Provide individual interventions such as:
- Life skills and ADL/IADL training
- Emotional regulation and coping strategies
- Cognitive and executive function support
- Social skills and community participation
- Routine, habit, and role development
- Monitor and evaluate client progress; adjust interventions as needed.
- Ensure timely, accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements, company policy, and payer expectations.
- Complete assessments, progress notes, review/revised treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews.
- Consult with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other clinicians to ensure integrated care.
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of therapeutic programming.
- Provide staff consultation and education on occupational therapy principles and best practices in mental health rehabilitation.
Preferred
- Experience in mental health rehabilitation, residential, or community mental health settings.
- Training in trauma-informed care, CBT/DBT-informed approaches, or recovery-oriented models.
- Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP) certificate

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
