Having doubled in size over the past year, we’re excited to expand our head office team with the addition of a Junior Accountant.
About the Role:
This is a dynamic, hands-on, full-cycle accounting role ideal for someone with foundational accounting knowledge who is eager to deepen their expertise in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You’ll take ownership of key processes and gain valuable exposure across all areas of accounting. The role is both challenging and rewarding—requiring diligence, adaptability, and a genuine willingness to learn. Who You Are:
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- A self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
- Curious and eager to grow in a supportive, team-driven setting
What You'll Do:
- Perform full-cycle accounting tasks, including:
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Weekly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Payroll processing
- GST and Excise filing preparation
- Assist in preparing weekly financial reports
- Liaise with restaurant teams to gather data for audits and reporting
- Support ad hoc projects and financial analysis
What You Bring:
- Diploma or degree in accounting or a related field (required)
- 1–2 years of accounting experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
