Your Opportunity
Reporting to the Coordinator, Visitor Services, the Visitor Service Representative is responsible for collecting and processing entry fees and gift shop sales in a friendly and efficient manner. Responsibilities include:

Stock products throughout the day, dust, organize displays
Greet and respond to visitor’s needs in a friendly, efficient manner
Process payment from customer following proper cash handling procedures
Perform duties in accordance with Conservation Halton’s Safety policy and procedures and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations
Perform other duties as required to contribute to the team effort and achieve the objectives of the department and Conservation Halton
Your Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience/training in the food industry
Previous cashier experience is an asset
Interest in hospitality, restaurant, and resort management is beneficial
Ability to travel to a site not serviced by public transportation
Able to lift up to 40 pounds (19 kilos), stand for long periods, some walking, work in cold temperatures at times, including some outside work.
Successful candidates must provide a satisfactory criminal record check

Your Reward
Starting at $14.00 per hour. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, some evenings and Christmas & March Break.
