Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Set-up Technician/Jr Processor to join our manufacturing team. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient setup and operation of machinery, supporting production processes, and maintaining high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with machining and assembly, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As part of our team, you will contribute to streamlined manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up manufacturing equipment for Plastic Injection ensuring proper calibration and safety compliance.
- Operate hand tools and mechanical devices to assemble, adjust, or repair components as needed for production runs.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and troubleshoot automated systems, maintaining optimal machine performance.
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers and other measurement tools to verify component dimensions and adherence to specifications.
- Support lean manufacturing practices by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting process improvements.
- Collaborate with team members on machine setups, changeovers, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on machine setup or processing roles.
- Familiarity with Plastic Injection processes and mechanical assembly techniques.
- Hands-on experience with programmable Robots.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation/ overhead cranes is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge of quality inspection procedures using calipers and other measuring instruments.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 44.0 per week
