Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction work, with a focus on attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and drawings
- Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including masonry, flooring installation, concrete forming, caulking, restoration work, tile laying, and drywall installation
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Repair or replace damaged framework or other structures
- Inspect work progress to ensure compliance with building codes and specifications
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using a variety of tools and equipment common to the carpentry trade
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent time management skills
- Certification or apprenticeship in Carpentry is a plus
