Acquisition Specialist
We are currently seeking a motivated and performance-driven Automotive Purchasing & Sales Consultant to join our growing dealership team. This role is designed for individuals who are confident in both vehicle acquisition and retail sales, with strong opportunities for income growth based on performance, gross profit, and inventory purchasing ability.
This is not a traditional “floor traffic only” sales position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for actively sourcing and purchasing vehicles from private sellers, wholesalers, auctions, and dealership partners while also assisting retail customers through the sales process.
Our compensation structure rewards employees who can successfully identify, purchase, manage, and retail inventory profitably while maintaining strong customer relationships and consistent sales performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Purchasing and sourcing used vehicle inventory from private sellers, online marketplaces, auctions, and dealership networks
- Building and maintaining relationships with wholesalers, dealer groups, and repeat sellers
- Evaluating market values, vehicle conditions, and profitability opportunities
- Assisting customers through the full vehicle purchase and delivery process
- Managing leads, follow-up, and customer retention through CRM systems
- Presenting financing and protection products professionally
- Working closely with management to maintain inventory turn and profitability targets
- Managing inventory purchasing activity within assigned purchasing guidelines and timelines
The ideal candidate:
- Has automotive sales or purchasing experience
- Understands used vehicle market trends and vehicle valuations
- Is highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial
- Thrives in a performance-based environment
- Has strong negotiation and communication skills
- Can work independently while contributing to a team environment
- OMVIC license preferred or willing to obtain
- Valid Ontario driver’s license required
- Fluent in either Hindi/Punjabi/Urdu or Farsi or Chinese or Russian or Arabic is an asset

Pay: $34,440.00-$122,172.27 per year

- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Canada Dealership Sales: 1 year (preferred)
