Support talent review and succession planning processes across the business.
Drive the activities and actions that come from the talent reviews including system updates, development planning, metrics and reporting.
Perform needs assessments and provide feedback to internal clients on plan of actions or interventions best aligned with organizational strategy.
Support the creation, implementation and development of Sienna’s competencies and behaviors
design and develop leadership assessments, development programs and tools for leadership
Provide leadership assessment feedback and 1:1 coaching for key leaders
Partner with talent acquisition and L&OD functions to ensure alignment with organizational development focus areas
Identify gaps and develop plans to address current organizational capabilities against future strategic objectives.
Support Diversity and Inclusion strategy and activities
Partner with HR professionals who, as strategic business partners, provide OD consulting, technical advice, and other OD resources to support business leaders on a broad range of issues.
Assesses/diagnoses organizational needs; designs, develops, implements and evaluates targeted organizational and employee learning in collaboration with L&OD team to, develop plans, and interventions.
Participates /facilitates directly in change leadership initiatives, team intervention work, coaching and facilitating workshops and programs.
Establishes talent development and career planning models and programs that develop needed skills across Sienna.
Works with senior leaders to design and implement effective processes that align with organizational priorities.
Facilitates proactive development of organizational capabilities in anticipation of business changes.
Leads development and implementation of a talent management strategy, systems and processes (e.g., talent pipelines, career paths, preparation of successor candidates).
Oversees development and implementation of programs and resources that build leadership and management capabilities across all levels.
Advises on performance alignment and employee engagement in collaboration with Talent team
Monitors and analyzes performance trends and ensures support is targeted accordingly.
Other related projects or initiatives.
Master’s degree preferred, with a focus on Adult Education, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, HR, or related field;
A minimum of 5 years of related experience, including management experience;
An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered;
Certifications such as: Certified Organizational Development Specialist (CODP), Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP), Credentials in Adult Education or Organizational Development or Coaching or CHRP are desired;
Highly developed leadership experience formulating and implementing strategic OD initiatives in areas of: individual and organizational assessment, change leadership, employee engagement, leadership and team effectiveness, management development strategies, succession and career planning, employee development, performance management;
Experience with organizational change leadership – inspirational leadership, illustrating the ability to foster collaboration and motivate stakeholders through innovative change;
Experience in strategic planning, program planning, development and implementation;
Knowledge of current HR and OD trends, regulations, processes;
Experience coaching / training HR partners and operating managers;
Research, analytical and problem-solving skills (including statistical analysis and interpretation);
Leadership skills with an ability to mobilize action and engage others; ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments;
Effective interpersonal and communication skills – including influencing, presentation, facilitation, negotiation and process consultation;
Proven success at building professional credibility and reputation for results at all organizational levels.
