Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our masonry team. This role involves working on diverse projects, including restoration and masonry work. The Laborer will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Experience in the field is an asset, but not a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist in preparation of masonry materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand
- Support projects by preparing sites, moving materials, and cleaning up.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Follow verbal instructions/directions from site supervisor.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of masonry techniques and restoration processes is an asset.
- Proven experience in restoration masonry or related fields is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods, including the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally on-site and with customers.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Working at Heights and First Aid/CPR certifications are an asset.
- Class G drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle is an asset.
Wage will be based on level of proven knowledge and experience.
Immediate start preferred.
