About Us
Habitat for Humanity Hamilton is an independent, not-for-profit charity that builds affordable housing and promotes homeownership. We mobilize local volunteers, community members and corporate partners, seeking to create a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.
Habitat for Humanity strengthens its mission with the support of the ReStore, a social enterprise and home improvement warehouse that offers new and used affordable merchandise to the general public. Revenues generated by the Hamilton ReStore fund all administrative and operational costs at Habitat Hamilton. This means that 100% of donated funds to Habitat Hamilton directly support its build program.
