Description
The Cashier/Coat Check Attendant role receives guidance from the Banquet/Beverage Captain, the Operations Manager or the Senior Operations Manager. The role of the cashier/ coat check attendant is to provide exemplary customer service while receiving payments and assisting guests with the coat check.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to provide excellent guest service while working in a very fast-paced environment
- Know and comply with all ARAMARK and client policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and emergencies.
- Receive payment by credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or credit due to customers.
- Proper payment handling including, greet and servicing guests at the registers, taking orders, and accepting payments, handling debit and credit cards.
- Communicate and assist guests with the coat check process.
- Hang and organize coats within the numerical order system
- Return coats and items using the numerical order system to guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Maintain and organize coat check area, ensuring cleanliness at all times.
- Accurately complete paperwork referring to lost or stolen articles
- Communicate and assist guests at the concession stand
- Stock and restock items as necessary
- Perform opening and closing duties.
- Work cooperatively with other staff to ensure a professional and enjoyable work environment.
- Build and maintain relationships with management and team members
- Additional duties as assigned or required, may be occasionally required to work functions outside of the cashier department such as the beverage department.
- Smart Serve Certification is required as serving alcohol will be part of the position based on business requirements.
Essential functions
- Ability to frequently move about a large facility, which could span several hundred thousand feet, to perform work responsibilities
- Ability to constantly stand for an extended period of time.
- Ability to constantly identify hazardous situations in the workplace.
- Ability to frequently handle objects weighing 35lbs or less

QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of point of sale experience with a strong knowledge of customer service.
- Smart Serve Certification is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $18.76 per hour

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
