Overview
We are seeking friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Servers to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Prior experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Take guest orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs, answering questions, and offering recommendations for upselling menu items
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are followed during food handling and serving
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for all guests
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the role
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with serving, cashiering, or hospitality roles enhances ability to succeed in this position
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and guest-focused approach
