The Knotty Lumber Co. manufactures custom furniture, finished cutting boards, and a variety of specialty hardwood products. We also supply hardwood lumber packs to customers across North America.
We are looking for a dependable, positive, and hardworking individual to join our production and shipping team. Experience is an asset, but attitude, reliability, teamwork, and willingness to learn are most important.

Responsibilities
- Pick, prepare, pack, and label customer orders for shipping.
- Package hardwood lumber and finished products safely and accurately.
- Cut lumber and other materials to the required dimensions.
- Move, lift, stack, and organize lumber throughout the shop.
- Plane and joint hardwood lumber for production and customer orders.
- Sand cutting boards, furniture components, and other hardwood products through the required stages.
- Assist with the production of cutting boards and a variety of custom woodworking projects.
- Sort and inspect lumber and finished products for size, species, accuracy, and quality.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials.
- Assist with inventory organization and material preparation.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Help the team meet daily production and shipping deadlines.
- Perform other general shop and production duties as required.

- Previous warehouse, shipping, woodworking, or production experience is an asset.
- Experience using a planer, jointer, table saw, or sanding equipment is an asset.
- A valid driver’s licence is an asset.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
