About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our administrative group of 6 within our public practice firm. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and providing administrative and client service support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support within a team of 6 administrative professionals
- Manage calls, emails, and client inquiries
- Coordinate client documentation (corporate year-ends, personal tax files, etc.)
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and general accounting support
- Liaise with clients, CRA, and external vendors as required
- Support scheduling, workflow coordination, and internal processes
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and administrative systems
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of administrative experience (public practice or professional services preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent English, written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with accounting or tax software is an asset
- Professional, client-focused approach
