Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, professional Catering/Event Bartenders to join our team and provide exceptional beverage service at various events and functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and working as part of the larger team to ensure the overall success of the event. Previous catering/event experience as a bartender is preferred along with a solid understanding of hospitality and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with event specifications and safety standards
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Assist with setup and breakdown of bar stations before and after events
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices
- Collaborate with event staff to ensure seamless service delivery during functions
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering/event environment or a solid bar experience in bars or restaurants
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during events
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or special events as needed
- Strong sense of team work and ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Smart Serve Certification is required.
