Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Server to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to provide exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Server will be responsible for delivering outstanding service, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring guest satisfaction from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and professionally.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's POS system.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests or concerns promptly.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash, credit, and digital transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, beer, and cocktail service.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
- Experience using POS systems and handling payments.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Smart Serve certification (or local equivalent) preferred.
Pay: $17.60 per hour
