Momentum Lift Equipment
Momentum Lift Equipment is looking for a driven, hands-on Sales and General Manager to lead the growth and daily operations of our specialized access equipment business.
We provide spider lifts and access solutions to contractors, property managers, facility operators, arborists, restoration companies, and other commercial clients throughout Ontario.
This is a leadership role for someone who can generate new business, build lasting customer relationships, improve internal systems, and take ownership of the company’s overall performance
SUMMARY OF POSITION
We are searching for a motivated and driven individual to provide leads in a business-to-business environment. This role will be responsible for identifying new and developing existing accounts, following up on quotations over the telephone and by email while supporting the team. The ideal candidate is an experienced in sales\telesales marketing individual with a proven track record of success, delivered administrative support to sales office and provided data entry and analysis, report creation, customer service, and logistics.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development
- Develop and execute a practical sales plan to grow equipment rentals and related services.
- Identify and pursue new customers and market opportunities.
- Build relationships with contractors, property managers, facility managers, arborists, restoration companies, and industrial clients.
- Follow up on leads, prepare quotations, and close new business.
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers and uncover additional opportunities.
- Attend customer meetings, networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.
- Track sales activity, opportunities, follow-ups, and results through the company CRM.
- Monitor competitors, pricing, customer needs, and market trends
General Management and Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of Momentum Lift Equipment.
- Coordinate equipment availability, deliveries, pickups, scheduling, and customer requirements.
- Ensure equipment is being used efficiently and downtime is minimized.
- Work closely with technicians, operators, drivers, office staff, and ownership.
- Help develop clear procedures for sales, scheduling, customer service, equipment tracking, and follow-up.
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
- Monitor operating costs, sales performance, equipment utilization, and profitability.
- Recruit, train, lead, and hold team members accountable as the company grows.
- Provide regular updates to ownership regarding sales, operations, opportunities, and challenges.
- Take ownership of problems and follow them through to completion.
Required skills and experience:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, operations, or general management.
- Experience in equipment rentals, construction, access equipment, industrial services, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to prospect, build relationships, negotiate, and close business.
- Comfortable managing both people and operational details.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Confident using CRM software, email, Microsoft Office, and basic reporting tools.
- Able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Practical, resourceful, and willing to step in wherever needed.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to customer and job sites

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
