Job Description
Ideal Products of Canada - Edmonton AB has an opening for a Machine Operator to join our team and enhance our business. In this role, the Machine Operator works in a team environment with Warehouse Labourer. This role requires cross training in various aspects of machine operation.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday
7:30am-4:00pm
8-hour shifts (40 hours per week)
Overtime Pay (Occasional opportunity for overtime in accordance with Alberta Labour Standards)
Do you have what it takes?
Essential Job Functions
Efficiently operate fabrication equipment and capable of learning other types of equipment.
Effectively measure material with tape measure or other measuring devices.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Maintain quality and housekeeping.
Comply with all safety requirements.
Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 50 LBS.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours to perform job related tasks.
What qualifications do you need?
Compute basic math problems.
Previous experience with press machines would be an asset.
Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Compensation Range
$17.50 - $30.32
