Financial Advisor
We are looking for a highly motivated individual interested in a long-term career in financial services. An experienced financial advisor is required to help service and grow a local investment and employee benefit company.
Key Accountabilities
· Develop financial plans for clients.
· Work with client investment and insurance portfolios, providing solutions.
· Grow and support employee benefit and pension business.
· Execute the marketing plan.
· Support two senior advisors.
· Actively participate in growing and enhancing existing and new client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who possess a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), QAFP or Professional Financial Planner (PFP) designations, a University Degree with a major in Finance, an IIROC license, and life and A&S insurance licenses. Ideally, a candidate will have minimum of 5 years' experience as a financial planner and can build sound financial plans. A strong presence in the local community will be given priority.
The successful candidate will be initiative-taking, an effective team builder, have a passion for providing financial advice, and excel at client relationships. They will aid in the future marketing and growth of the firm. The position will begin Fall of 2024 on a full-time basis with core hours of 8:30 to 4:30 Monday to Friday. This is a salaried position and will be based on qualifications and experience.
