Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients to ensure timely meal service
- Support the cooking process by following recipes and standards to deliver high-quality dishes consistently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Handle food handling procedures safely and efficiently, adhering to hygiene regulations at all times
- Contribute to serving guests by ensuring orders are accurate and delivered promptly, providing friendly customer service
- Support cashiering duties using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cash handling
- Help with general cleaning duties within the kitchen and dining areas to maintain a hygienic environment
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or kitchen work experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and assist guests
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in meal preparation and cleaning
- Experience with restaurant operations, including serving, cashiering, or hotel/hospitality environments is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology for order processing and cash handling
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this lively role
