Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Developmental Service Workers, Home Support Workers, and Personal Support Workers to provide essential care and assistance to individuals with diverse needs. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor health status
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Engage clients in recreational activities and companionship to promote mental well-being
- Assist with transfers and heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members
- Support clients during medical appointments or outings as needed
- Implement specialized care plans for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments
Qualifications
- Prior experience in home support is preferred
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving
- Knowledge or experience working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility support safely
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Certification in caregiving, nursing assistance, or relevant training is a plus but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as required
- Valid driver’s license may be preferred for home visits

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
