We are seeking an organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Electrical Coordinator to support our project management and field teams at Powerlink Electrical Ltd. Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Support
Assist with the coordination of daily project activities, schedules, and deliverables.
Support project managers with planning, tracking, reporting, and follow-up tasks.
Help monitor project timelines, milestones, and priorities to ensure work progresses as planned.
Assist with purchasing coordination and material planning as required.
Coordinate with internal teams to support smooth project execution from start to completion.
Documentation & Administration
Maintain organized project files, drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, and project correspondence.
Prepare, record, and distribute meeting minutes, updates, and action items.
Ensure project documentation is accurate, current, and properly filed.
Procurement & Materials Support
Assist with sourcing, ordering, and tracking materials, equipment, and supplies.
Follow up with suppliers, vendors, and delivery teams to help ensure materials arrive on time.
Maintain purchase order, packing slip, delivery, and invoice records.
Coordinate material pickups, deliveries, and shipments as required.
Communication & Team Coordination
Support communication between office staff, project managers, suppliers, and field teams. Relay project updates and assist with resolving minor coordination issues. Help ensure information is shared clearly and promptly with the appropriate team members.
Field & Site Support
Provide administrative and coordination support to field crews and supervisors.
Assist with scheduling site visits, inspections, permits, and project-related appointments.
Visiting job sites as needed to support project coordination and gain field exposure.
Pick up or deliver materials and assist with logistics when required.
Cost Tracking & Billing Support
Assist with tracking project costs, budgets, purchase orders, and invoices.
Support progress billing, invoice preparation, and cost reporting.
Help maintain accurate records for project expenses and billing documentation.
Safety & Compliance
Support adherence to company safety standards, procedures, and site requirements.
Assist with inspection records, compliance documentation, and safety-related paperwork.
Help ensure required documentation is completed and submitted on time.
Learning & Development
Gain exposure to electrical systems, drawings, specifications, and construction workflows.
Develop knowledge of project management processes, estimating tools, and industry software.
Build the skills required to grow into a stronger project coordination or project management role.
Qualifications
Diploma, certificate, or relevant education in one of the following is preferred: Understanding of electrical construction, drawings, or project coordination is an asset. Electrical Engineering Technology preferred Construction Management Valid Driver’s License Strong organizational and time-management skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management or estimating software is an asset. Willingness to learn, take initiative, and support both office and field teams.
