Responsibilities
As cook you are responsible for:
● Ensure food is served in a timely manner by working efficiently with the back of house
and front of house team.
● Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment to ensure the health and
well-being of customers by adhering to food safety standards.
● Maintaining our quality standards by ensuring the food is prepared consistently and to
our high standards.
● Minimizing food waste by managing inventory and controlling portions.
Duties
● Prep food items at the beginning, middle, and end of the day to ensure timely availability for service.
● Fulfill catering orders with attention to detail and adherence to menu specifications.
● Cook and assemble food items following prescribed recipes and menu guidelines.
● Strictly adhere to proper food handling and safety protocols to maintain a safe kitchen
environment.
● Plate and garnish dishes according to our standards, ensuring presentation excellence.
● Count inventory regularly toensuret sufficient stock levels..
● Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service for customers.
● Store food items properly, labeling and dating them to prevent waste and ensure
freshness.
● Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a well-organized and hygienic
kitchen environment.
● Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries to verify the quality and quantity of incoming
food supplies.
● Communicate effectively with the front-of-house staff to coordinate online orders and
delivery, ensuring a seamless experience for eat-in and dine-out customers.
● Participate in training sessions to improve skills, learn new techniques, and stay up to
date on menu changes.
Physical Job Requirements
● Can lift and carry up to 50 pounds
● Capable of standing for long periods of time.
Compensation: $18.50 / hour + tips + meal subsidy
