Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in field service and equipment repair, with a focus on maintaining and troubleshooting various systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with hand tools, schematics, and computer hardware. You must be competent in IT solutions, as we use the EMBED system, which requires a dependable IT individual.
Duties
- Perform service tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, games and server-side maintenance.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand system layouts.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair and replace faulty components using appropriate techniques and tools.
- Collaborate with team members to diagnose complex issues related to computer networking and low voltage systems.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.
- Relay information to and from various manufacturers for ordering parts, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Arcade Service Technician or similar role in a technical environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and networking principles.
- Strong IT skill-base, familiarity with server networking, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for various systems.
- Experience in electronic equipment repair and maintenance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective team, supplier and manufacturer interaction.
Pay
Pay is entirely dependent on skillset, abilities and prior knowledge. Veteran arcade technicians with built-up skills, requiring little to no extra training will have the highest earning potential. Workweek is flexible, especially during off-season.

Pay: $30.00-$43.21 per hour
