FAMILY LOOKING FOR CASUAL SUPPORT WORKER -Kelowna

You will have the opportunity to support an active young woman in her home and in her community. She has her own individual passions and goals. We are looking for someone who is excited and willing to explore her interests in cooking & baking nutritious food, rock polishing, crafts, and gardening with her. Support with daily personal care needs, making meals, laundry, and caring for her home, equipment, and small pets is required. Maintaining good health is a major focus for her. The positions available:
1.) Part-time – Weekdays and/or weekends, with start times between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. Variable hours, up to 15 hours per week, with shifts ranging from 2 to 5 hours per day. Shifts are typically scheduled in the mornings, from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 or 11:00 a.m.
2.) Casual On-Call coverage for sick days and vacations.
The Wages:
-Hourly wage is $29.50/hr.

Skills and Qualifications you will need:
-Successful Criminal Record Check
-Current First Aid/CPR
-Driver’s Abstract & access to a safe vehicle
-Proof of Vaccination
-Patience and intuitive listening skills – able to work at the client’s pace
-Experience with caregiving, cooking, cleaning with clients
-Good communication skills
-A strong work ethic, ability to be up and actively supporting the client

NOCLS is a non-profit organization that receives no government funding. We provide resources, guidance, and support to families who manage funding for a loved one requiring assistance with daily living. While NOCLS is not the employer, we serve as the behind-the-scenes support system, offering connections, information, and practical resources to help families navigate the process with confidence.
