Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Building Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and supporting building systems within residential and commercial construction environments. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. The Building Technician will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure building operations meet safety standards and quality expectations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects from planning through completion .
- Collaborate with construction teams on residential and commercial projects to ensure adherence to specifications, schematics, and safety standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting building issues by conducting on-site assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections using organizational skills and computer skills.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support leadership in implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial construction environments with a focus on building maintenance or technical support.
- Familiarity with analysis skills related to building performance and schematics interpretation.
- Bilingual abilities in English and French necessary.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with time management capabilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $17.39-$40.93 per hour
