We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate and timely processing of shipments. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency in a warehouse environment.

Duties
- Receive incoming shipments, inspecting for damage and verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and labeling them accurately.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers to facilitate loading and unloading of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using MRP systems and AS400 software.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure correct quantities are shipped and received.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal storage and distribution efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goals while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support e-commerce operations by ensuring timely fulfillment of online orders.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse machinery is advantageous.
- Strong basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Familiarity with MRP systems and AS400 software is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
