We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team at the Mississauga Campus. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various human resource functions for the employees as well as students of the college.

Job Summary: The Human Resource Manager will single handedly oversee and coordinate various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This role requires a proactive individual capable of handling multiple tasks and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Initiatives:
- Develop and execute strategic HR initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Analyze HR metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Attract top talent through effective strategies.
- Conduct interviews, reference checks, and background screenings.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires.
Employee Relations:
- Address employee concerns and grievances promptly.
- Foster a positive work environment through communication and conflict resolution.
- Organize team-building and engagement activities.
Performance Management:
- Develop and implement performance appraisal systems.
- Support managers on performance-related issues.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and coaching.
Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate development programs.
- Conduct HR-related training sessions.
- Support career development and succession planning.
Productivity:
- Implement productivity improvement tools.
- Monitor and analyze productivity metrics.
- Provide training and resources to enhance productivity.
Termination:
- Manage the termination process in compliance with legal and company policies.
- Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback.
- Handle termination documentation and communication professionally.
