We are currently looking for Shop coordinator/Safety coordinator. This position will mostly entail managing day to day operation of shop in fast paced environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Shop Administrator
· Update WOs with pertinent information such as invoices
· Audit shop timesheets and enter time
· Provide WO numbers as necessary to shop personnel
· Check CVI expiry list and ensure pop-ups are entered, WO is created and status changed to Out of Service
· Correspond repairs at outside repair shops
· Completing purchase orders and receiving purchase orders with parts
· Entering parts requisition forms information into Work Orders
· Attach DVIR’s sent via email to WO’s in real time, or as required.
· Compliance review – ensure drivers are completing DVIR’s correctly.
· Organize/track WO’s, registration, CVIP’s, DVIR’s, Out of Service’s, and any other information as required for all equipment.
· Update reminders and equipment statuses.
· Ad hoc task that may arise
Requirements:
- 3-5 years in a transportation compliance role for a carrier(s) with Canadian and US operations
- A Bachelor’s Degree is an asset; Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain education preferred
- Strong knowledge of Canadian trucking regulations including Driver Hours of Service, Vehicle Maintenance & Inspections, Transportation of Dangerous Goods/Hazmat, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills and go-getter attitude
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
- Self-starter capable of working under minimal supervision
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS 365 with an aptitude to learn new software quickly
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $48,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
