Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic and experienced Dining Room Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a memorable dining experience. As a Dining Room Server, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverages to residents, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and assisting with various tasks to support the kitchen and front-of-house operations. Although shifts times may vary- the usual work times are 10:30am to 1:30 for lunch and 4pm to 7:30 for dinner, we are open seven days a week.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, answering any questions they may have about the menu items.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and chairs after each use.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining room tables for special events or large parties.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of meals.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience serving in a full service dining room is required. Minimum 3 years experience.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and requests simultaneously.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor and a willingness to help others.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is an asset; training will be provided as necessary.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
