Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced Construction Foreman for a commercial/institutional project in Northern BC. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring relocation for 18–24 months, working closely with a highly detail-oriented Site Superintendent in a structured, traditional site environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of construction experience, including time as a Foreman or lead hand
- Strong Canadian construction experience (must understand local codes, practices, and standards)
- Background in commercial or institutional construction
- Proven ability to lead crews, coordinate trades, and manage daily site operations
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail and comfort working under a structured Superintendent
- Ability and willingness to relocate for 18–24 months
- Comfortable working full-time on a jobsite (trailer-based environment)
- Level 2 First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with equipment operation / relevant certifications
- Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging site environments
Nice-to-Haves
- Carpentry background or trade certification
- Experience on remote or camp-style projects
- Experience working in small, tight-knit site teams
- Strong safety background on regulated job sites
Responsibilities
- Supervise crews to ensure safety, productivity, and quality standards are met
- Work closely with the Superintendent to execute daily and weekly plans
- Coordinate subtrades, inspections, and testing activities
- Enforce site safety protocols and lead toolbox meetings
- Complete daily reports, safety documentation, and progress tracking
- Identify and resolve deficiencies quickly
- Oversee material deliveries and site logistics
- Maintain a clean, organized, compliant jobsite
- Translate schedules into clear daily work plans
- Monitor productivity and adjust workflow to stay on target

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $90,000 – $105,000 per year, based on experience
