Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking seasonal Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will assist with planting, cultivating, harvesting, and maintaining crops while ensuring the smooth operation of farm activities. Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on farm equipment, including cleaning, repairs, and adjustments using hand tools and power tools
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across fields
- Conduct general farm upkeep including mowing, pruning, and pest control measures
- Load and unload supplies or harvested produce using heavy lifting techniques and appropriate safety procedures
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
- Support team members with various farm tasks as needed to meet daily operational goals
Experience
- Prior experience with mechanical knowledge, irrigation systems, horticulture practices, or farm machinery is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with maintenance tasks involving hand tools, power tools, or heavy equipment operation is beneficial
- Basic math skills for measuring inputs such as fertilizer or water quantities are preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and operate heavy equipment safely is essential
- Previous experience working outdoors in agricultural settings is a plus but not required; willingness to learn new skills is highly valued
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
