Property Paralegal
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Cox & Palmer is currently seeking an experienced Property Paralegal to join the firm’s
Charlottetown Office. The successful candidate will have a Paralegal or Legal
Administration diploma or other related education, with two or more years of experience
working as a property paralegal.

  • Assisting lawyers with all aspects of commercial and residential property files;
  • Drafting documentation for property files;
  • Acting as a liaison between the firm and clients, providing clear and timely
communication on the status of property files;

  • Tracking outstanding deal documentation and managing property closings;
  • Providing general administrative support to members of the property team;
  • Working overtime as needed to meet client requirements; and
  • Other duties as required.
  • Paralegal or Legal Administration diploma or other related education;
  • Two or more years of experience as a property paralegal;
  • Dedication to providing superior customer service and being a positive
professional ambassador for the Firm;
  • Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and to work with a diverse group of
lawyers; and
  • Trustworthy and responsible, with the ability to work independently.
