We are currently seeking a Territory Manager to support our existing clients, open new accounts and help our retail customers achieve outstanding growth and sales targets.
Role Overview:
As a Territory Manager, you’ll work as a trusted partner for our clients, with a proven history of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships is essential while visiting stores across your territory to provide hands-on support (tastings), drive sales growth, and ensure the brand is represented to the highest standards. Your work will directly with and contribute to the success of both BCL, LRA and OP accounts you support and the brand. We are looking for a dynamic member of our team to represent the Please! Beverage Co. brand across all channels, both new and existing, throughout the territory, on a consistent basis. We are looking for a “Hunter” mentality as we are a still in start up mode. Your key role and responsibilities will be:
Responsible for a Territory to include but not limited to Kelowna (West), Kamloops, Vernon, Osoyoos, Penticton, Naramata, Peachland, Lake Country, Oliver and other outlaying regions in the Okanagan (seasonal visits and subject to additional locations as brand expands).
You will call on private and government liquor stores, restaurants, pubs, golf courses, breweries, arenas, local lake cruise companies, eateries and other establishments that sell liquor, either at a head office (chain) level or store level.
Implement and execute a yearly business plan for your territory,
Increase sales volume, taps and points of distribution in LRS, OP, and breweries
Negotiate in-store placement of products shelf space, fridges and in-store displays and promotions
Identify new leads and opportunities through consistent cold calls/sales calls in your territory
Educate new accounts and staff on the difference of what Please! Beverage Co. offers VS our competitors
Track, manage and diarize calls,(WINS & WIPS) along with organize routing schedule of territory to define optimal time management.
You are not afraid to get out into the public and represent the brand by participating at in store tastings, tasting events, farmers markets, relevant festivals, (typically held in the evenings and on weekends.
Report weekly and monthly activity to the sales managers and/or directors.
Manage expense account and complete monthly expense reports.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
A post-secondary degree or diploma is preferred and ideally 2-4 years’ outside sales experience in the craft brewery, RTD or alcohol industry preferred. You will have a clean driving record, have a strong work ethic, be a self starter “Hunter” and be a positive person both in the office and on the road.
Preferred Skills and Expectations:
As a Territory Manager, you will be expected to have a regular presence throughout the territory. In addition to being a driver of business, the ideal candidate should have some of the following skills:
You thrive when working independently and enjoy being on the move. This is a role for someone who loves being a road warrior and enjoys listening to tunes while visiting accounts, building relationships, and making an impact in store. You are constantly looking for new business opportunities that work with the brand and our DNA. You are not afraid to drop into an account as a cold call and probe for new business as this is required. This is NOT a “keyboard clicker” role, this is a hunting for new business and maintaining existing business role.
You love doing tastings, farmers markets and events to support the brand and getting Liquid to Lips. If you do not like these types of avenues to generate business, then this role is not for you.
You can quickly integrate into the position and seamlessly join a high functioning, team focused environment, often working directly with the Regional Manager. You are trustworthy, honest and you have a keen ability to communicate and convey ideas and feedback frequently in a positive and constructive manner both internally and externally what you see on the road and what the industry is doing, what is working.
You’re organized and can manage multiple tasks, pivot and be flexible without missing a beat—ensuring proper product placement, stock management, and reporting while maintaining high standards. You have a knack for creating impactful in-store experiences and visual displays, but you also know how to maintain a polished, professional presence with clients and store staff.
A willingness to lift kegs, cases of craft cocktails and event material, often without help (20-45 pounds).
The ideal candidate must be able to work flexible hours and days, be proficient in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM programs
You hold a valid Serving it Right certificate

- Monthly Commission Structure – is based on monthly sales targets which aligns the compensation with individual performance, seasonal demand patterns, and overall company financial discipline. Commission is calculated and paid monthly based on performance against assigned targets. Commission rate is between 0.5% - 5%. Commission $ range for this territory is between $1162.50 - $18,600.00
