NEPI has a reputation for excellence as a producer of heavy fabrications and is currently accepting resumes for the position of Industrial Painter Blaster at its Niagara Falls, Ontario facility.
Required experience:
· Sand blasting;
· Visual surface inspection;
· Metal grinding and blending;
· Material handling of 50+ ton products using overhead rail mounted crane;
· Applying base and top coats using conventional spray guns (air based).
Requirements:
· High school diploma is considered a minimum.
· Fork truck license.
· Overhead crane training.
· Capable of lifting between 20-50lbs.
· Positive and cooperative attitude.
· The ability to work unsupervised.
Work Environment:
· Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver within a plant environment
· Utilizing hand tools and some light power tools; lifting up to 25kg
· Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety officer for personal protection. This position requires working in Lead (Pb) environment
· Has the ability to work independently on-site
· Ability to travel to sub vendors’ facilities (within 60kms)
· Work in a team environment
