We are currently looking for Certified Instrument Mechanics to assist in our annual mill maintenance shutdown for the duration of September 15 - 21st, 2019:
- Red seal or Interprovincial TQ certified
- Superior troubleshooting skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Solid background in heavy industry and construction
- Knowledge of the pulp and paper industry is an asset as well as experience with welding procedures and equipment reliability
- Previous shutdown/maintenance outage experience is also considered an asset
Living out Allowance
Canfor will provide living out allowance to successful out of town trades candidates hired for our shutdown.
Temporary Certified Journeypersons with Canfor will be paid $43.58 per hour.
Overtime may occasionally be offered during the turnaround to complete projects.
