Project Coordinator / Office Manager – Custom Cabinetry & Millwork

NCK Millwork is seeking an organized, proactive, and experienced Project Coordinator / Office Manager to support our custom cabinetry and architectural millwork projects from design through production and installation.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and project coordination skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of the custom cabinetry and millwork industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multiple custom cabinetry and millwork projects from initial design through production, delivery, and installation
- Maintain project schedules, deadlines, task lists, and progress reports
- Coordinate communication between clients, designers, suppliers, production staff, installers, and management
- Follow up on shop drawings, approvals, material selections, purchase orders, production timelines, and installation dates
- Schedule meetings, site measurements, deliveries, and installation crews
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues
- Maintain organized digital and physical project files
- Prepare reports, meeting notes, correspondence, and project documentation
- Support daily office operations and administrative activities
- Assist management with scheduling, documentation, follow-ups, and internal workflow improvements
- Track deficiencies, service items, and project closeout requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience as a Project Coordinator, Office Manager, or similar position
- Familiarity with the design, manufacturing, and installation processes of custom cabinetry and architectural millwork
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, , Asana, ClickUp, Trello, or similar platforms
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings, plans, specifications, and project documentation
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-up
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with designers, production teams, installers, and management
- Experience in the custom cabinetry, millwork, construction, or interior design industry is strongly preferred

Pay: $27.00-$33.00 per hour
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (required)
Experience:
- Project managing : 5 years (required)
- Millwork/cabinetry design in Canada: 5 years (required)
