Responsibilities:
- Organize and store boxes, pallets, parts, and equipment according to project and job numbers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard to ensure materials can be easily located and accessed.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, verifying, and storing incoming and outgoing materials and parts.
- Track inventory, materials, and equipment using SAP and other company systems.
- Follow up with vendors regarding late shipments and outstanding deliveries.
- Operate a forklift, and other applicable equipment, in accordance with company safety procedures and training requirements.
- Perform general housekeeping duties and other operational support tasks as required.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and operations team to support day-to-day business operations.
Please note that this role may involve the following physical demands:
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials and equipment
- Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the workday
- Working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid forklift certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in a warehouse and yard environment, including lifting and handling heavy materials
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and business systems
- Strong communication and ability to work with a team
Considered an Asset:
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience
- Experience using SAP or other inventory management systems
