We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and equipment.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving deliveries and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.
- Participate in menu planning by providing input on seasonal dishes or specials based on available ingredients.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
