Dental Laboratory Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled, organized, and motivated Dental Laboratory Manager to oversee the daily operations of our in-house dental laboratory. This position combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities and offers an exciting opportunity to work with patients by using modern digital dentistry technologies, including CAD design and 3D printing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day workflow and scheduling of all laboratory cases.
- Design dental appliances using CAD/CAM and 3D design software.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot 3D printers and related laboratory equipment.
- Fabricate custom dental appliances, including retainers, night guards, whitening trays, custom trays, crowns and bridges
- Ensure all cases are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain quality control standards and laboratory protocols.
- Track and manage laboratory inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with dentists, coordinators and patients regarding case planning and timelines.
- Maintain compliance with infection prevention and health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Dental laboratory experience preferred.
- Experience with CAD/CAM technology and digital dentistry workflows.
- Knowledge of 3D printing, design software, and appliance fabrication.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent organizational, time management skills and strong communications skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
