TEST CENTRE OPERATIONS COORDINATOR (ACCOUNT MANAGER)

PARAGON TESTING ENTERPRISES (PARAGON) operates in the highly competitive and rapidly growing industry for English proficiency tests and their instructional materials. The Test Centre Operations Coordinator (Account Manager) works within the Test Centre Operations unit to oversee a portfolio of test centres, ensuring that they meet or exceed Paragon’s high standards of operations and test security, are achieving annual targets, and are actively promoting Paragon’s tests in their region.

The position reports to the Manager, Test Centre Operations and works under the guidance of the Coordinator Team Lead to provide account coordination, marketing assistance, improve test delivery workflows, and optimize test sitting schedules for their portfolio of test centres. The Test Centre Operations Coordinator will be directly accountable for the performance of the test centres in their portfolio.

Responsibilities
The description below lists the responsibilities of the position; however, the incumbent should be ready to take on new and different responsibilities as the company grows. These responsibilities include to:
  • Build strong trust relationships with test centres via phone, virtual, or face-to-face communication
  • Revise test schedules to optimize test sitting capacity as needed in consultation with test centres
  • Expand test centre facilities when necessary
  • Provide feedback and updates to test centres
  • Resolve test day issues reported by test takers
  • Assist with marketing and promotions at test centres
  • Conduct audits of test centres and follow up with them on the results to improve performance
  • Monitor the test delivery process at test centres on an ongoing basis to ensure that Paragon’s test delivery procedures and policies are adhered to
  • Provide input for the re-engineering of procedures for test operations to make them more effective and efficient
Desired Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in an applicable field
  • Experience in account management and relationship building
  • Effective oral and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, problem solving, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret data, and transform the findings into action items
  • A self-starter with an outgoing personality
  • Knowledge of and experience with business and office procedures, practices, and their applications
  • Experience with computer business applications required, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access), email, and other database software
Other Requirements
  • Willingness to work weekends, early mornings, late evenings, or other times when PARAGON’s tests are delivered
  • Willingness and availability to travel within Canada and internationally
  • Canadian citizenship, Canadian permanent residence, or permit to work in Canada
  • Valid Canadian class 5 driver’s license considered an asset

Salary: Commensurate with candidate’s qualifications
