Key Responsibilities:
- Working on Family Law files
- Being able to communicate with clients that are going through a difficult time
- Ability to work on simple and complex family law files
- Develop and maintain superior relationships with clients and other team members
- Understand clients needs to get the best outcome for them
- Represent clients in a professional manner and close files in a timely manner
- Communicate with clients before, during and after receiving a file
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards
- Possess the ability to go into court and act in the best interest of their clients
Successful candidates must have:
- Minimum of 5 to 20 years of experience working as a Family Lawyer
- Extremely detail oriented with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Have sound judgment and the ability to understand their client’s perspectives
- Member of the B.C BAR and in good standing
Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience including base between $130,000 to $250,000 plus bonuses
