The HR Administrator supports all aspects of human resources, ensuring employee records are maintained accurately while providing support to employees and the organization. This role plays a key part in fostering positive employee relationships and supporting HR and Safety operations. The position reports to the President.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Support full-cycle recruitment across all departments
- Create and manage job postings
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
- Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and maintain talent pipelines
- Support succession planning initiatives
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate onboarding activities and documentation
- Ensure departments are prepared for new hires
- Support first-day employee experiences
- Manage offboarding processes, exit interviews, and transition activities
Performance & Employee Development
- Administer performance reviews and probation assessments
- Support employee development initiatives
- Maintain accurate employee records and performance documentation
Benefits & Employee Relations
- Administer employee benefits programs
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and workplace concerns
Employee Engagement & Communications
- Coordinate internal communications
- Support employee recognition programs and company events
HR, Safety & Administration
- Maintain confidential employee records and HR databases
- Coordinate training systems with Safety and Operations
- Support safety initiatives, management systems, and client safety databases
- Perform general administrative duties
Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Human Resources, Management, or a related field
- Experience in a Human Resources role
- Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards and Occupational Health & Safety legislation
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
