We pride ourselves on safety, teamwork, and delivering high-quality results. We are currently seeking a Loader Operator to support our plant and yard operations.
Job Overview
The Loader Operator is responsible for safely loading and unloading tubing and casing (32 ft – 45 ft oilfield pipe) for both production and sales. This position plays a key role in keeping all plant departments supplied and ensuring production flows efficiently. The Loader Operator will report directly to the Yard Supervisor while working closely with Inside Sales and the Plant Manager to align with plant schedules and accommodate changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload flatbed trucks with 32 ft – 45 ft tubing and casing
- Ensure timely delivery of pipe to and from plant departments to maintain production flow
- Collaborate with the Yard Supervisor, Inside Sales, and Plant Manager to support scheduling and operational priorities
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and maintain equipment in safe working condition
- Follow all safety protocols and promote a safe work environment at all times
- Support accurate material handling, storage, and recordkeeping
- Be available for periodic on-call assignments outside of regular hours
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience operating loaders or similar heavy equipment preferred
- Valid loader/forklift operator certifications are an asset; training provided if required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety and situational awareness
- Reliable, organized, and able to work collaboratively with multiple departments
Work Schedule & Benefits
- Full-time, Monday to Friday with periodic on-call weekend work
