ACC operates three feedlot locations within 15 minutes of Iron Springs and Picture Butte.
Overview
The Feed Truck Driver is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of feed, ensuring feed quality and equipment and standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the proper feed delivery in timely manner
- Ensure to load the correct ingredients into each ration to be delivered
- Proper silage raking for daily feeding
- Even distribution of feed and same amount across the bunk
- Daily sampling of rolled grain and silage DM%
Additional Support
The successful candidate will also assist with routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance to ensure equipment remains in good working condition. Participating in workplace safety initiatives and contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of feed delivery experience
- Demonstrated ability to operate feed truck and silage loader
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Proactive and able to work efficiently under low supervision
- Strong work ethic and willingness to continue learning
- Well organized
- Self-motivated
- Reliable
- Strong communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
