Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative, agile and experienced Warehouse management leader passionate about developing their team and providing excellent service to both their internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record of optimizing warehouse processes, managing a team, and ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods to support manufacturing production and customer delivery. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, analytical, energetic, and well-organized, demonstrating a passion for people’s development and continuous improvement.
5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing or production environment.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Inventory Maintenance & Manufacturing processes and standards.
Proven experience managing and leading a team of warehouse team
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, including cycle counting, physical inventory, and inventory optimization.
Expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Advanced MS Office applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel) are vital. Power BI and Power Query experience an asset
Strong quantitative analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma)
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and best practices
Capable of attaining and holding certification on forklift and reach trucks

Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
Proficiency in conducting feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for improvement initiatives.
Innovation and Strategic Thinking
Ability to identify, evaluate, and implement innovative warehousing technologies and techniques (e.g., carousels, AGVs, robotics) to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Capacity to develop and execute long-term strategies for warehouse optimization and modernization.

Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify bottlenecks, analyze data, and develop effective solutions for warehouse challenges.
Adept at utilizing data to drive decision-making and measure project success.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to articulate project goals, progress, and outcomes to diverse audiences.

Analyzing complex materials and inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and create comprehensive reports with action plans for management
