Okanagan Chrysler Dodge Ram is looking for a motivated, energetic, and qualified Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team! This is a crucial role at our dealership, and we’re looking for someone who’s not just good—but great—and wants to be a part of something bigger.
Minimum 140 hrs. guaranteed for 6 months !
Opportunity to have in excess of 300 hours !
Who you are:
- Experienced Licensed Red Seal Automotive Technician
- Perform work as assigned on work orders with efficiency, safety, and accuracy in accordance with dealership, factory, and regulatory standards
- Ability to diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunction and perform repairs as authorized in a timely manner
- Note any other repair, maintenance, or safety concerns observed on customer vehicles and advise service desk
- Import/domestic Dealership Experience is an asset
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Maintain cleanliness of service bays and equipment used and shop area generally
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have your own tools
- Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate considered an asset
- Positive attitude and patience for fellow apprentices
- Able to work Saturdays
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
