Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and returns
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to enhance their purchase experience
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products on shelves and ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products or store services
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure swift checkout processes and minimal wait times
- Uphold store policies on cash handling, security procedures, and customer privacy at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Ability to operate POS systems and basic retail technology tools confidently
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone or via online inquiries
- Experience in merchandising, product demos, or technical sales is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for product knowledge and upselling techniques
